Central is a shared-trunk station on the Edmonton LRT, served by both the Capital Line and Metro Line. The two lines run on the same tracks through here, so you can board either from the same platform.
On weekdays the first Capital Line train leaves Central at about 5:28 am and the last at about 1:31 am. At the morning rush trains come every 6 minutes; at midday, every 10. There is no overnight LRT — ETS runs OWL night buses once the trains stop.
Like every station on the Edmonton LRT, Central is step-free: there are elevators or ramps from street level to the platform, and the trains are level with the platform edge.
